Sleep and Insomnia

When people say they are having their beauty sleep they are certainly telling the truth.
Sleep can do more for anti aging than many other factors combined as this is a time when the body recovers and regenerates.
With a lack of sleep the body doesn't get a chance to recover from the rigors of the day and slowly but surely your state of health with degenerate.
As we become more and more tired from a lack of sleep other things are needed to help us make it through the day and they often come in the form of low value, high sugar energy drinks and high carb junk foods that give a temporary burst until hunger strikes again and another fattening mouthful of food is required.
Soon the combination of a lack of sleep and poor nutrition leads to sedentary lifestyle where there is no time, energy or inclination for exercise and the downward spiral of poor health continues to increase the aging process.
Without sufficient sleep you can't hope to look your best and soon the muscles under the skin will become tired and the skin will lose its elasticity. The face will begin to sag and you will look tired and older.
Sleep deprivation will cause the body to store more fat and that will also make you look older. The fitter and healthier you can remain the younger you will look and it is not possible to be at your optimum level of health when you are trying to get by without enough sleep.

There are three main areas that are most important when caring for your skin.

Those three areas are the cleaning of your skin, the moisturizing of your skin and the protection of the skin.

It all starts with cleanliness, as the other factors can't work as well if the skin is not cleaned properly.

With all the different cleansers on the market there is enough information to fill a book but it is worthwhile saying that you do not  have to spend lots of money to  get good quality cleanser.       
Makeup will need to be dissolved with oil-based creams before the face can be cleaned properly and then your preferred cleanser will remove any residue that could clog up your pores.

It is important that all traces of makeup are removed before you retire for the night as sleeping with makeup on can cause all sorts of skin problems as it clogs the pores overnight.

A good moisturizer will then help to soften your skin and replace the natural oils that are removed by washing.
This barrier that is created by the moisturizer will help to lock in the moisture that is in your skin.

And finally you will need to protect your skin.
There is nothing that will age your skin more than leaving it unprotected against the elements.

Sunlight is good for the skin but too much will cause damage and even a little too much can cause irreparable damage so always use sunscreen when outdoors.

Many of the moisturizers that are worn during the day have SPF sun protection factors and these are products that you should consider when out and about during the day for additional protection.

Even driving a car in sunny conditions can cause sun damage so these moisturizers are particularly good to use.

Protect your lips with balms to stop them from drying out and becoming chapped and wear sunglasses and eye creams to protect the delicate skin around your eyes.

Carbonated Drinks Cause Weight Gain

Colas and carbonated drinks can sabotage your weight loss goals. This is true even if you are drinking diet drinks! Research has revealed that anything that is carbonated seems to make you gain weight.
The worst culprit when it comes to soda induced weight gain is cola which of course contains a great deal of sugar. This certainly blows away the belief that it is okay for the dieting individual to drink club soda.
Soda induced weight gain simply has something to do with carbonation in general. Studies have proven that people just don’t seem to gain as much weight when they drink non-carbonated beverages. When it comes to drinking club soda the high sodium level of these beverages may be to blame.  They can cause you to retain water and cause havoc with other systems in your body such as your blood pressure.
Experts say that if you stop drinking all carbonated drinks you can lose as much as fifteen pounds in one month. It is the sugar in the colas that is so addictive. Anybody who is a cola addict is also a sugar addict. Sugar is an empty calorie with no nutritional value. Your body loves to store it and if all of this sugar is not worked off immediately it can go straight to the areas on your body where you collect stubborn fat.
Nutritionally a cola is one of the worst foods you can put in your body. First of all it is not even of much value as a fluid as it has so much caffeine in it that it acts as a diuretic. A diuretic is any food or liquid that causes a person to lose water through urination.  Just one eight-ounce glass of the cola contains 140 calories and all of those calories come from high fructose corn syrup.
The caffeine in Coke helps speed the sugar to your pancreas where it is then unleashed into your bloodstream. The results in a temporary high once all of this sugar is delivered to your brain. Unfortunately the high that a sugar addict gets from drinking a coke doesn’t last for long and a crash in mood or energy soon follows. This then triggers the brain to go searching for another cola fix so that it can experience the elation of another sugar high. 
Consider that just four eight ounces servings of Coca Cola will add 560 calories to your diet a day. If you have been exercising and dieting then it might be time to take a serious look at how often you consume carbonated beverages as that might be the cause of your mysterious inability to lose weight.

What is the cause of frigidity for post natal

Generally, sex life is a medium to consolidate and strengthen the relationship between husband and wife. A couple who do not have a normal sex life will be very scary. Over the time, it will create all kinds of family problems. Many women in their postpartum, the frigidity problems will start to arise. What are the causes for women after childbirth with sexual coldness? The only solution is to find the main causes in order to solve the problem in order to lighten back a wonderful sex life.

These are the causes of frigidity for postnatal:-

1. Early Sex after childbirth
Women after childbirth will experience changes in their reproductive system which is caused by pregnancy and childbirth. Therefore, in general it will produce a certain inhibition in sexual desire. They need to take about two months of post-natal for their organs to return to normal and sexual desire will gradually recover as pre-pregnancy state. If the husband and wife do not understand this, and they start to have sexual intercourse in the early of postpartum, especially some of the husband reluctant to care of his wife feeling and do under "its own way." This will affect not only to his wife's physical rehabilitation, but would cause his wife into sexual aversion, disgust, and then develop into sexual coldness.

2. Tiredness.
In order to have a harmonious and happy sexual life, you need to build a healthy and energetic basis. Women after giving birth, they often use to devote their time and energy to their infants, and their interests in sex would be not so high. If the husband, do not care much for his wife at this stage, neither understand nor help his wife for the children and chores, this would cause a lot of troubles. If the wife busy alone, yet the husband only full of spirit and energetic on bed, this would definitely create a huge impact to his wife especially when it comes into a sex life active state.

3. Improper Contraception.
Some women did not take an effective contraceptive measures for their postpartum sex life because the fear of pregnancy. Therefore they will always worry and try to avoid the sexual intercourse in a hope that they won’t get pregnant or so. In addition, some couples do experience an " interruptive" sexual intercourse contraception, and when it comes to the strong "sexual" interest, the wife would seemingly close to orgasm during the coitus but due to the "interruptive" predicament, it may lead to frigidity over the time.

4. Reproductive system disease.
Some women after giving birth, it happens that their vulva and the vaginal tear with scars. It reduces the susceptibility to genital sex or small vaginal which cause the pain during sexual intercourse. Some of the complications such as endometriosis or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease due to the postpartum will also affect the sexual intercourse. Some women suffering from trichomonas, fungal vaginal inflammation, increased vaginal discharge, genital itching and burning pain. All these will suppress the sexual desire to be a varying degrees of severity.

Drinking Green Tea makes a Perfect Abdomen in 90 days!

What to do for abdominal weight loss? Study found that tea contains the ingredients that effectively promote lipolysis, especially can found in green tea. Therefore, drinking green tea can give you a flat belly!

Drinking green tea can really lose weight? Recent studies by Unilever R & D center in Shanghai,China & Institute of Lipton Tea, several agencies found that catechin in green tea may bring a beneficial effects to our body composition and fat distribution.
Scientists took 182 healthy but mildly overweight male and female for their study (average body mass index BMI : 27.0+0.2kg/m2, age 37.1 + 0.7 years, female waist circumference>80cm, male waist circumference>85cm) were randomly divided into 4 groups for the experiment.

During the experiment, four groups of people had given: 2 cups of zero calorie drinks a day and there were :

  1. Placebo (not including catechin, tea flavor) drink two cups per day.
  1. 1 cup contains of 468mg of catechin beverage + 1 cup of placebo drink
    3.   2 cups of beverages with total contain of 440mg catechin

  1.  2 cups of beverages with total contain of 880 mg catechin

During these 90 days, all the normal diet and daily routine activities remain unchanged. At the end, a precision instrument was used to measure the changes in abdominal fat.
The results showed that compared with the consumption of beverages with catechin for daily intake . There were a significantly reduced in a person’s weight, waist circumference and intra-abdominal fat area.  The total body fat was also slightly reduced. The higher concentration of catechin, the greater the change in abdominal fat.

Without changes in diet and physical activity, the group of mildly overweight male and female had drank for 90 days of high catechin content of green tea. Their  weight, waist circumference and intra-abdominal fat were significantly reduced.  

In view of this, scientists think: green tea catechins may have specific beneficial effects in our body fat distribution.

A Day in Organic Eco Farm - Titi Eco Farm

It was a sunny day. We, about 11 persons departed from Cheras heading to Jelebu, Seremban.
It took us about 2 hours to reach there. The road up to Titi Eco Farm was winding and narrow. Titi Eco Farm is located on a hill. It was hardly saw any cars when we drove up the hill. We were quite worry about whether we were in the right direction. Unfortunately, my sister's car was running out of fuel!
Luckily, we managed to find a petrol station in just another 4km !





 In Titi Eco Farm, there are herb farm, vegetables farm, fruit farm, fish pond and ostrich farm.
The owner, Mr Lim had guided us and gave valuable sharing on the different uses of the herb plant for natural remedies.

There were a list of programs for the 2 days 1 night package.  We were served with organic fruits, vegetable and flowers for our meals.
They also explained to us how the enzyme helps for our healhty, the making of whole wheat bread and foot spa as well.

It was an educational trip for us. We learnt a lot from this 2 days 1 night trip in organic farm.  We hope to come back someday in the future.

It is a humid & hot weather.  I started to suffer from sore throat and my face suddenly pop out a few stubborn acnes. What a bad day for me !

It is a time for me to prepare my natural cure juice to chase "them" out from my poor face.

Here are the ingredient :
150g bitter gourd
1/6 pineapple (peel removed)
ice cubes
Honey
300cc water :

Method:
Wash bitter gourd and cut it into 4 pieces.
Add biiter gourd pieces in the fruit blender cup (including bitter gourd seeds)
Then ,add pineapple, ice cubes,honey and water.
Start high speed for 10sec.
The juice is ready to serve.

Prevention and effect:
It prevent mouth odor
Dry mouth
Sore Throat
Pigmentation such as black pigmentation,freckle and acne.
